About

I discovered my love for design at a young age. Growing up near New York City I was influenced by fashion. My mother worked in the fashion industry and we shopped in the garment center directly from the showrooms. I was told I had a great eye for fabric, color, and style, so much that my friends and their mothers invited me to pick out their clothes, thus I found myself becoming a personal shopper.

My interests expanded from fashion to collecting antique fabrics. I started a vintage textile company and became a prop stylist for catalogs and editorials in magazines such as Pottery Barn Catalog, Pippers Catalog, Country Living magazine, Food and Wine magazine, to mention a few.

Moving west, I have lived in California, Hawaii, and Portland, Oregon. I have traveled extensively in Indonesia, the South Pacific, Mexico, England, Italy, and France. One way I get to know a place is by looking for the unexpected, whether it is in nature or shopping for one of a kind in flea markets and antique shops around the world. My inspiration for my interior design work  has been influenced by my travels.

I have been consulting in the interior design field for 12 years working on projects for new construciton, remodeling, staging homes, vacation rentals, residential homes, as well as commercial spaces. My work has taken me to Hawaii, Portland, California, New York, and Nantucket. I collaborate with designer, Kate Bayer who works on the East and West Coast. I hold a MA degree in  Eco-Psycology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Presently I  reside with my husband  and live between Portland, Oregon and Maui, Hawaii. I have two grown children.
